The way it works is you first create a station, enter a handful of bands you like & then begin listening. As each song plays you have the ability to give it a thumbs up or down and even click on an option that tells you why Pandora thought you might like the particular song. It's a great tool if you are looking for something new or perhaps are just tired of your collection. Give it a look.
