Goggles Flight Sim

Site of the Day
"Goggles Flight Sim"

First post! bells.whistles.sirens. Not to be too forward, but I am a big fan of Google and especially Google Earth. So when they began opening up the service and allowing individuals to build mashups on top of it, one could say I may have been a bit overly excited. Then I started reading about prospects of it being taken a step further with individuals using it as a platform for gaming. There was talk of everything from golf, to spy/detective puzzles and even virtual life simulators. Well it seems this is beginning to become a reality. Created by freelance programmer Mark Caswell-Daniels "Goggles Flight Sim" is the first (as far as I know) to successfully realize gaming via Google Maps/Earth. As you might of guessed it is a simple, addictive flight sim, and worth checking out. One can only hope this is a sign of things to come...
